Chapter 9

The new living arrangement was working out for everyone but John. Diane still had not found a job but her mother and sisters gave her money. Diane paid Angie two hundred dollars a month even though Angie didn’t require her too. Diane felt better knowing that she was doing something to contribute to the living expenses so she paid anyway.

Over the past three months Diane and Angie hooked up three more times. John was still oblivious to the whole thing their affair remained a secret. They kissed and fondled each other every chance they got. But when it came to John and Diane being alone Angie kept a tight leash on John.

Angie didn’t suspect anything, her women’s intuition kept her aware of the fact that another woman was living in her house with her husband. Angie wanted to be cautious.

John was able to get small feels in every now and again, he even got to see Diane’s bush, but it was all a tease. John wanted to make love to Diane and had not done that yet.

John and Angie’s sex life had gone to a new level since Diane’s arrival. Angie was giving John great sex and all he wanted. Angie thought keeping John sexed up would make him not want to cheat. Angie’s strategy worked because John had not yet strayed.

Angie found a new Job with a new doctor and her work hours changed. Angie was now getting off around five or six in the evening. John knew with Angie’s new schedule he would have more opportunities at bedding Diane. John had been waiting for so long to make love to Diane, he also noticed what Angie was doing. John and Diane had barely had a chance to be alone.

John was waiting for Angie to come back from a Doctor’s appointment. Diane was out running errands. John was listening to some music and drinking some Brandy, he had some weed he’d gotten from a guy at work. He smoked a joint and flicked through the channels on the television. John didn’t smoke weed that often but he knew Angie and Diane liked it so he bought it for them. John was singing one of his favorite songs when Angie walked in.

“What’s going on baby?” Angie asked.

“Nothing much just sitting here listening to some music and getting a buzz.” John responded standing to give Angie a hug. “What did the doctor say?”

“It was a she.” Angie barked.

“Damn baby. Where did all that come from?” She’s still a doctor. What’s the difference? It doesn’t matter if it’s a male or female it’s still a doctor. You on some bullshit and I’m not about to feed off into it.” John argued. “You not about to come in here and blow my high. Fuck all that shit.”

Angie sat down on the bed. “Whatever John. She said I was healthy and that I was pregnant.”

John jumped up off the bed and turned down the music. “Don’t be playing. How many months are you?”

Angie didn’t seem thrilled.
